WERE WE ARE

The Department of History Cultures Religionsis located at the second floor of the building that hosts the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy of Sapienza University (near the “Policlinico” Line B metro station of Rome’s metropolitan service). The main campus of Sapienza University is located in Piazzale Aldo Moro in the San Lorenzo district, at a few minutes’ walking distance from Termini station. The campus, which was designed by the architect Marcello Piacentini and inaugurated in 1935, is a real city within the city, where the teaching activities of our department are complemented by a series of supporting structures for students and academics providing reception, admin and librarian services, and including teaching laboratories and workshops.
